Hi Internet,
I have a very specific calendar question that probably impacts many other people. I would be forever in someones debt if they can explain/ find/ engineer a solution to this issue!
Summary Goal: Create a downstream calendar flow from OUTLOOK (work) > Personal Google Cal that has other sub-cals and pulls from internet based cals I have Subscribed to > iPhone calendar app to give me reminders and the Mac via iCloud, all while traveling across many time zones.
Ingredients:
I have a Outlook work calendar;
Google personal calendar;
Google enterprise calendar for my NGO that I DO NOT use because I have created a sub calendar within my personal one. Only I need to see this.
Multiple calendar subscriptions on Google Calendar for other NGOs that I am on the board;
Google Cal is set up so I can see personal, NGO 1 (I create), NGO 2 (calendar subscription) and NGO 3 (calendar subscription) calendars on one account, color coded;
iPhone where my current Google cal set up is pushed to so it notifies me where I have to be at all time;
Mac pro where my current Google cal set up is pushed to so it notifies me where I have to be at all time;
iCloud account.
GOAL:
1. I would like to send my Outlook calendar to my Google Calendar setup so that it syncs/ merges with my current setup, is added to the mix and pushed to my iPhone and Mac so that the evil things tell me where I have to be at all times/ who to call and what is overlapping across multiple time zones around the world.
2. I don't want my 9-5 employer (outlook cal) to see my google cal that has personal stuff and NGO events on it.
3. I don't want to have to invite myself to my work events via my gmail because that will NOT separate personal events and work events. Everything should remain Private to me and only me.
4. Therefore, I only want the flow to be downstream, not two way. OUTLOOK > Personal Google Cal that has other NGO sub-cals and pulls from internet based cals I have Subscribed to > iPhone calendar app to give me reminders and the Mac via iCloud.
I know this is a little confusing, so please feel free ask clarifying questions. Thank you very much to whomever can help solve this!
