Will Microsoft Office 2003 load newer verisons of Office Documents? I'm considering buying a used copy for 30 bucks.

Yes MS Office 2003 will work just fine, but you will need to go here:
https://www.microsof...tails.aspx?id=3
download and install the application once MSOffice 2003 is installed and it should do the trick for you.

MSOffice 2003 is no longer supported by Microsoft but many folks prefer it to the newer versions that have switched to the dreaded ribbon interface..... The 2003 version has the traditional interface that some folks prefer ...whilst of course other folks actually prefer the ribbon interface present on later versions of MSOffice
