I bought my Grandson a little 7" Cubby Sprout Android tablet about 8 months ago. It worked fine for all that time but recently for some unknown reason, it won't boot up to the normal desktop screen. It goes to kind of a backlit black screen that "flashes", if you will. I can't get any apps or icons to come up at all, so I can't do a factory reset. Is there any way to do a factory reset on an Android device using an external connection like a PC?

The reset button is located on the back of the unit. (To one side of the camera). Reset the device by pressing the button with a small object such as a paper clip.
