I checked and the "roll back driver" option is grayed out, so apparently not.
I'm still at my parents, so the problem is clearly not in the router since I have the same problem here. It's in the laptop. And I can't access the router here, but I'll check if changing the security settings have any effect once I can use my own router again.
I'll be going back to my place in around a week and a half, so if there's nothing else to be done I can get a usb wifi adapter for test.
But would reinstalling Windows 7, for example, be worth a shot? Since my problems started only after I installed Windows 7 over Windows 10, maybe a fresh install would help.
