I've tried so many things to fix this problem, and still the embedded videos on twitter and instagram do not work, using the latest Firefox browser. It used to work just fine, but for the last several months it's not been working at all. Any suggestions? Thank you in advance.

Thanks for the reply. This section of the forum is quiet. I actually have the updated flash player as well (adobe flash 20,0,0,235 installed).

Tools>Add-ons>Plugins

By the way, the twitter embedded videos from youtube work okay, but the short clip videos do not work (GIF's, etc). I thought it could have been a javascript issue.

I see that you have some plugins desabled because they are vulnerable, start by updating those plugins .

If your problem remain, upload a pic with a screen shot of the browser when the video fail to start.

I had already tried to update all of the disabled/vulnerable Firefox plugins, but they have been blocked by Firefox, and are unable to be updated. Attached is a screenshot of an embedded video from twitter that does not work.

Paul i want you to capture the firefox window when the video does not work, not just the video .

I'm pretty sure a vulnerable plugin is blocking your video.

in the plugins page click on click to see if plugins are up to date and try updating from there, if that doesn't work just uninstall them and install the new version .

I don't know how to remove the outdated/vulnerable/blocked plugins. Also, what would you be looking for with a screenshot of the browser window, instead of just the video?

How do I remove the blocked plugins? There seems to be no button to click to remove, and when I try to update the plugin, it has been blocked by Firefox. Is there a work-around in order to remove the useless plugins? Thanks.

Some of the plugins can be removed from the control panel. Others should be removed manually .
This link will help you .

- WXP + Firefox + H264 (vídeos de twitter..) no se reproducen.

- about:config
- media.gmp-eme-adobe.forcevisible = true
- media.gmp.decoder.enabled = true
