Hello out there. This 62 years old needs a bit of advice to clear up my hijacked XP laptop. It is the only computer I have and with a dial-up, the pop-ups, slowdown is killing me. I had posted my log as suggested, and have been waiting for any reply.
Do I need to do something else?
Is there a site where someone can steer me right?

Please be patient, we know that you have a problem so is the 65000+ members with the same problem, with only a few helpers. This site is very very busy fighting against malwares. Please stay put and someone will be along to assist you.

For the mean time, please read THIS.Even the best antispyware programs are only able to remove about 70% of infections. Also, the line between spyware and trojans is getting blurred. You can never be too careful with these, I recommend at least one online scan.

Now, REBOOT in Normal Mode and have an On-line scan at this sites: Trend Micro or Panda Scan or BitDefender.

REBOOT again.
