The components on the MB, like the DDR2 RAM, is pretty outdated, so changing the board would mean a more modern CPU, RAM, and if you have an OEM version of a windows OS, you will need a new one as it is not transferable to a new MB.

 

Why do you want to change the MB?

What budget did you have in mind?

in what country would you buy parts?
