Hi all
I've recently decided to take the plunge and build my very first PC, which I would use primarily for gaming. Since I'm kind of out of my depth, I just want to check some things in terms of the budget. I don't want to pay anymore than I have to, so want to make sure I'm not thinking of anything over the top. I want the PC to comfortably play games to a PS4/XB1 standard, considering I have a PS4 so I don't want to go backwards. Depending on how much it will cost to build a PC at a similar level, it may set me back.
Someone on another forum built me this as an example, but it is way over my price limit which was around £400 ($600), but I don't know if my budget is unrealistic. I can't afford the £600 set up that was suggested on that link though...is there anyway I can cut down the price? Is there anything on there that is unnecessary?
I'm really eager to do it, it's just it reaches a point where although I want to move from console gaming, paying more than £400 is not cost effective for me.
I've intentionally left off peripherals. They aren't included in my budget.
