might help.  You can look at the log they talk about but it probably won't be of much use:

Control panel, Administrative Tools, Event Viewer, Applications and Services Logs, Microsoft,Windows,Apps,Microsoft-Windows-TWinUI/Operational .  If you click on Level it will sort them by importance.  I'd start with the red ones or look for the same date and time as the above.

For this one:

Log: 'System' Date/Time: 18/01/2016 1:37:38 AM
Type: Error Category: 0
Event: 7023 Source: Service Control Manager
The Superfetch service terminated with the following error:  The service has not been started.

Go into the registry in HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\Memory Management\PrefetchParameters

Be sure that both EnablePrefetcher and EnableSuperfetch have a value set to 1

Try to start the Superfetch service again,

Assuming it rebooted after you cleared the alarms it looks like whatever you did really did the job.

How is it running now?

I did reboot it after I cleared the alarms.  It's running wonderfully now.  I actually think what was happening with the Windows phone app was that other app that I didn't use.  I did have to change the values on that superfetch thing.  They were at 3 and I changed them like you said to one.  Thank you SOOOOOOOOO much for all your help!!!

We usually clean up with Delfix.  This removes our tools (like FRST) and their logs and any quarantines and also removes all but the latest System Restore point so there is no chance of the malware coming back with a system restore.

Ensure Remove disinfection tools is ticked
Also tick:
Create registry backup
Purge system restore

Click Run
The program will run for a few moments and then notepad will open with a log. Please paste the log in your next reply

You will need to delete VEW and its logs manually since delfix doesn't know about VEW.
