I cannot open Quicktime in Apple trailers site.

OSX Yosemite El Capitan Quicktime.

Hi,

I just got an iMac which had Yosemite. I could not open Quicktime in Yosemite and I did a search and found this was a common problem with Yosemite.

Quicktime 7 was already there and so I downloaded and installed Quicktime 10.4 thinking in needed to be updated. Now I have both.

Then I installed El Capitan and the same thing happens.

The window says to - Get Quicktime. Download Quicktime to view this video. Quicktime is free for Mac and PC.

It says - Remove Apple.com and Trailers.Apple.com - which I have done and it still does not work.

It works fine in Safari.

Anyone know what I can do?
