Splicing chargers need help ASAP

There is a list at the bottom of replaceable parts. Looks like you need

Appears that the inner conductor on the jack is + 20 v and the outer conductor is ground so shouldn't be hard to splice. (See page 21 in the manual)

Thought you said the original was bad. In that case it's just an option. If it's not bad what is bad?

which is what I suppose you have to work with.

unfortunately doesn't show enough to see how it is wired. Is the connector going to mount on the original board or just hang loose? Can you attach some pictures of your replacement item?
