Ok so I have a Lenovo idea pad yoga 11. The charger port in it is messed up but I have a charger port from a Lenovo idea pad u530 and my goal is to put that charger port into the yoga 11. I have to splice it to do that, so I need to know the order of the wires of the computer end of the wiring harness to the dc power jack. I've looked everywhere online and I couldn't find a diagram anywhere.

Appears that the inner conductor on the jack is + 20 v and the outer conductor is ground so shouldn't be hard to splice.  (See page 21 in the manual)

So I would have to buy a new port I couldn't use the original one?

Thought you said the original was bad.  In that case it's just an option.  If it's not bad what is bad?

The original is completely gone. The wires in it had gotten all out of place and the charger it self is messed up. That's why I was gonna try to put the charger port from another Lenovo in it. To keep from having to buy more parts. To do that I'll need to splice it and I know the wire order for the charger that works, but as for the cables that connect from the computer to the charger I can't tell.

unfortunately doesn't show enough to see how it is wired.  Is the connector going to mount on the original board or just hang loose?  Can you attach some pictures of your replacement item?

It'll mount on the board. It's a perfect fit and yes I'll post the pictures in a few minutes
