Hello

I have a Sony VAIO laptop i7 running Win7 Home Premium64

A few month ago The laptop was running OK, but Windows would not update

I ran malwarebytes and ESET and they found nothing

I tried a some fixes recommended by Microsoft  for the update, but they did not work

so i decided to reset the laptop to Sony factory settings

when the PC gets to "setup is starting services" a box comes up saying

Windows could not complete the installation, to install windows on this computer restart the installation"

This happens over and over

Thanks in advance for any help

When you started the recovery, did you use a partition on the laptop hard drive, or a recovery disk provided by the laptop?
