I always try to so a search before I post a topic however I am not finding anything.

I am using windows 8.1 and when I try to send a picture or file from my computer to email I get an error message that sais no program associated with this computer or what ever.

I have tried everything.   went to control panel and the to set program defaults and still nothing.    this is very aggravating    I cannot send pictures or anything.

thanks  i wish it was that easy but i cannot find anything that will work.  four hours in to trying to just send emails or pictures with email and i get nothing.   i was getting an error message when i would try not nothing happens.                     this is one of the hardest things i have ran into.   so wish i could go back to xp lol

Exactly how do you send E-mail?

Who is your E-mail provider (gmail, yahoo, ????).

Do you send and receive E-mail via your web browser or do you have a program like Outlook, Windows Mail or Firebird that you use.

What are the steps you take to attach a picture to your E-mail to send it?

i finally fixed it. I had to download windows live mail and everything started working
