Hi there guys.

I got a temporary Win 7 computer and basically my volume is way too low and everything is maxed out. Is there a way to turn it up or is there any software that I can use to boost the volume?

Cheers

You can try to enable loudness equalization by doing the following:

  • Press the start button and type manage audio devices.
  • Click on the Manage Audio Devices result from the list.
  • This opens the sound controls.
  • Here you need to select the output device which usually means the speakers.
  • Click on the properties button afterwards.
  • This opens the speaker properties window.
  • Switch to the enhancements tab.
  • Enable loudness equalization.

See if that helps you.

Thank you very much for your reply but I have already tried that. I've tried a few fixes I found on the internet I should have mentioned that. Well just one other and that's when you uncheck "do nothing" in some options somewhere I already forgot where.

OK it worked. Turned out loudness equalization had unchecked itself so I checked it again and an improvement to say the least. Cheers
