Hi ive recently got my connection upgraded to 512kbps from 256kbps... and i play a game called Tactical-Ops and my ping has been fine and i wasnt lagging, but lately its been rising to about 140 to 200 (usually 40 to 70) and ive been lagging more, ive tried removing any spyware, adware anything that could be causing this... ive even tries reducing the graphics of the game, but its just not worked. Do you know what to do?

go here and test your connection first.

http://www.dslreports.com/stest

also there is a test for line packet loss but you would have to signup for that test.hope this helps. :tazz:

oh one other thing here is a download for Dr.Ping it helpped me and a bunch of my RPG buddies (we play Raven Shield).

it does have instructions,

Set the TCP Recieve Window to 64240
Set the MTU to 1500 (bottom Right)
Set everything else to default
Leave TTL and Max Duplicate Acks BLANK
Save, exit, and reboot your computer

make sure dialup is blank too.
