 When I start my window 7 laptop it has a small error message which I am going to attach a screen shot of the message.  Maybe you can help me figure out how to fix it.  It does not seem to effect the running of the system.  My laptop is a Toshiba Satellite L505 windows 7 64 bit laptop.

:welcome:   johnnyrunon,

Have you tried a system restore point that is before the issue first happened in case a recent update caused this, if yes and no joy, make sure that the Group Policy service is enabled;

Click on Start, type Run, press Enter, type services.msc and then click ok, look for Group policy client service, when found right click on it and then click on properties, make sure that Service status is started and that the startup type is automatic, click on apply and then ok, restart the notebook and post back with an update for us.

Yes I have used restore to correct other issues which did cure my other problems.  I checked the group policy client , as you suggested,, it is set to automatic and when you right click it , it is set to automatic and grayed out so it can not be changed.  I thank you very much for your reply.

Lets try the Windows AIO repair tool approach then, see my canned text below please;

Download then run the All in One Repair from here, disregard the malware guidance but follow the other steps to the letter and in particular ensuring that you first create a new restore point and perform a proper Windows clean boot before running the repair, details for the clean boot here.

You are welcome btw  :)

Well, I used the repair program and it worked beautifully.  Thank you very much.  If you are the one who designed this program you are a genius.  I will be telling all of my friends about the program.
