Dear Support,

I created the following two threads in the "Virus, Spyware, Malware Removal" forum back in 2006.

http://www.geekstogo...roblems-closed/
http://www.geekstogo...this-logclosed/

EDIT: Problem resolved, thanks so much!

Hi, per our terms of use. We do not delete topics. It wouldn't be much of a forum if we did, now would it?

We will remove any personally identifiable information when requested. However, unless your name is Compaq_Owner I don't think you have much to worry about.

If I missed something, please send me a message, and I'll remove it.

Best Regards,

--

Blair

Thanks for your help, but I just spotted another issue on the following post:

If you could remove that one last little tidbit, I won't bother you guys anymore!  :prop:  Thanks a bunch!

Done!

You're welcome. :) I really don't think you had much to worry about in the way of identity theft, if that is what you were concerned about. Those topics were so old, and so many things could have changed in 10 years, I doubt the info was useful or that anyone would have even found that info unless they were pointed in that direction... I had no idea it was there until you pointed it out to us.

Rule of thumb... never draw attention to yourself..

Have a great day!
Donna :)

Haha, I get what you mean!

I may have been a bit paranoid, but I've heard of the most mundane things coming back to bite internet personalities in the butt in the most unexpected ways, so I just wanted to be safe. I use this moniker on a lot of websites, and wanted to be sure that there was a 0.0000000000% chance of my real name ever being attached to it. Trust me, this site was low on the threat level, in terms of the amount of information available, but I wanted to be totally comprehensive.

Thanks again for your help!!   :spoton:
