Windows 10 will not play an audio file embedded in a PowerPoint 2010 show.
Windows 7 and XP plays the file.
Have used the "Link to file" and this works but it means sending the audio file with the show.
Is there a better way I can try?

Thank you SpywareDr for your reply with the link to an earlier query.
Also thanks to FredTimbrell whose answer to the query of KathleenKing confirmed my suspicion that Windows 10 somehow prevented the music from playing.
Fred's advice was the solution and unblocked the embargo placed by Microsoft but unfortunately isn't the complete answer.
It seems that in sending the show by email one must also send the instructions on how to be able to hear the accompanying music.

Thank you for your reply SpywareDr,
I have sent the show to two accounts I have and in both cases there was no music.
When I looked at the "Properties" they were both blocked but when unblocked played the music.
In "Properties" it states: "This file came from another computer and might be blocked to protect this computer."
From this I assumed, because in both cases they were from the same computer, they would not be blocked.
I was wrong!
