<_< I have tried to find out why my Internet Explorer suddenly will not open from my desktop icon? So I'm still hoping somebody can help me. I've done scans and have found no viruses. Everything else seems to check out OK. It had worked fine until about 3 weeks ago. I can open up sites through AOL. However I cannot get the I.E. toolbar across the top if my screen. How can I get my I.E. back to normal? AOL has no answer for me and Microsoft will not help without paying them bucks to do so. I have uninstalled it and reinstalled it and still have had no luck. Can SOMEBODY PLEASE HELP? This is driving me crazy. Obviously something has gone astray. What could possible have caused this? But more important how can I fix it? I have submitted a Hijack this log, which thankfully was looked at and there appeared to be no problem there. Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated.Somebody,anybody..PLEASE HELP! :D

Try deleting the shortcut that's there and making a new one? Here's a must read:
