I think this problem started this afternoon when I tried to tell my printer to print a document with 2 sheets per page- it kept saying it was looking for drivers or something on the printer and wouldn't ever print and ever since then things seemed messed up. I can't do the right click at the bottom and get control panel to open- the menu comes up but it won't open the control panel or things like the task manager. I was trying to get to the printer to see if I could find out what was going on with the printer. I finally used the Cortana search to get the control panel open, but now if I click on view devices and printers, it just spins and still won't open anything up. I can use Cortana to get to the window where all of the devices are shown, but again if I try to open up the printer in question, it just spins and won't open it up. I have restarted my computer a couple of times- hoping that it would clear whatever I seemed to have messed up with the printer, but that hasn't helped.

Hello turnall,

To see if this is a Windows issue download then run the All in One Repair from here, disregard the malware guidance but follow the other steps to the letter and in particular ensuring that you first create a new restore point and perform a proper Windows clean boot before running the repair, details for the clean boot here.

Well it's working fine now- so all seems to be fixed with that All in One Repair. Thanks so much!
