I used to get a popup for my audiojack when i plugged something in weither it was a mic, headphone, headset, etc my issie is it stopped coming up so when i plug in my earbuds with a mic on it thays for my phone it uses the mic on my laptop instead of the headset because i cant choose headset on the pop up that doesnt pop up anymore how csn i get this notification to pop up again im assuming i must have accidently hit the dont show this again checkbox but i need it back and dont know how to access it

Restoring from a system restore point

This option takes your PC back to an earlier point in time, called a system restore point. Restore points are generated when you install a new app, driver or Windows update, and when you create a restore point manually. Restoring won’t affect your personal files, but it will remove apps, drivers and updates installed after the restore point was made.

 

1. Right-click (or press and hold) the Start button, then select Control Panel.

2. Search Control Panel for Recovery.

3. Select Recovery > Open System Restore > Next.

4. Choose the restore point related to the problematic app, driver or update, then select Next > Finish.

• If you can't see any restore points, it might be because system protection isn't turned on. To check, go to theControl Panel, search for Recovery, then select Recovery > Configure System Restore > Configure and make sure that Turn on system protection is selected.

Im sorry didnt check my emaul i was about to do system restore but i found a program called audio switcher and when i downloaded and installed it actually brought back the popup screen i wanted thankyou for your assitance in the matter
