The Process Explorer info is not quite what we need, see my example attachment below;

Good Morning..........!

 

Ok........I am seeing that.........

 

So I then go to the top left..........Go to File.........Save as........then the file name is nis.exe. on desk top.

 

(I see you have.............save...........save as.........)  which when I click on just "save" there is nothing. If I click on "save as".......then the data goes to the desk top as a file named nis.exe. I copy and paste from that...................I can't seem to get a file named........Procexp.txt....I suspect that's the problem of why I'm not getting what you are looking for...........

 

I will say that right now my computer is rather quiet since I haven't been on it that long this morning. (I don't shut it down at night)

 

I should be better at this but I'm stumped on this one.........

Yes...........I have the program and can see on my screen the Process Explorer which when opened look like the thumbnail you attached earlier..........

As long as it has been running long enough you can grab a screenshot of Process Explorer and upload it for us, see below;

 

To capture and post a screenshot;

 

Click on the ALT key + PRT SCR key..its on the top row..right hand side..now click on start...all programs...accessories...paint....left click in the white area ...press CTRL + V...click on file...click on save...save it to your desktop...name it something related to the screen your capturing... BE SURE TO SAVE IT AS A .JPG ...otherwise it may be to big to upload... then after typing in any response you have... click on browse...desktop...find the screenshot..select it and click on the upload button...then on the lower left...after it says upload successful...click on add reply like you normally would.

 

Screenshot instructions are provided to assist those that may read this topic but are not yet aware of the “how to”.

You got there but if you look at the scroll bar in your screen shot it is not at the top where it needs to be so we cannot actually see your highest CPU usage, the ones that we can see look ok btw.

Apologies for the delay, fresh coffee was required 

 

You can see that HP Support Solutions Framework is hogging your resources and will be slowing down your computer, this software is used by HP to check Windows computers for updates, what I suggest you do for now is watch Process Explorer for a few moments to see if the CPU usage for HP Support Solutions Framework drops significantly then post back with an update for us, it may be necessary to uninstall and then reinstall a fresh version.
