Hi, I have a problem that started recently on my win7 pro 64 bit pc. If I open a picture to full screen on facebook upon returning to normal view the scrollbar and mouse wheel are non responsive. If I close and reopen facebook the scrollbar and mousewheel work correctly until I view another pic in fullscreen. This definitely is a new problem. I use palemoon browser, but the issue persists with Internet explorer.

I'm not sure if this is a browser or windows problem. Has anyone got any ideas please?

Hi nordvark,

Try disabling add ons, plugins, extensions, etc. to see of that helps. Got that idea from here. Might be a shot in the dark but worth trying..

Thanks DonnaB, should have said I did that by running palemoon in safe mode, Internet explorer has no addons. Also cleared cache. Yes I know its a weird issue, and I dont know if its a browser, Windows, or Facebook issue??

Go in to Device Manager and find your Mouse.  Right click on it and Delete.  Reboot.  It should reinstall it.  Perhaps it will work better now?

If that doesn't work try downloading a different browser and see if it has the same problem.

Reinstalled mouse driver, with no change. The issue persists with installed versions of Palemoon and Internet Explorer.

Also persists with portable

  • Firefox
  • Opera
  • Chrome
  • Seamonkey

Guess its not a browser issue

Update, just went to facebook and can no longer reproduce the issue, can go from full screen to normal view without losing scrollbar. Whilst it works I should not look for trouble.

Thanks for your help, and hoping the issue stays resolved.

Thanks again :yeah:
