Hi all

I live abroad and find that, while looking at my online bank statements or while doing a bit of internet shopping etc, any cash amount shown has been automatically converted into

the local currency where I live.

Very helpful, but un-solicited and unwanted. Its causing all sorts of problems.

I use a Firefox Browser and have checked the settings, add ons etc but don't see anything that would cause this.

It also happens in Internet Explorer.

Is my PC trying to change itself into an Apple smart phone that knows what I want/need more than I do?

It's an annoying problem made worse by the fact that I haven't got a clue how to prevent it from happening.

Any ideas anyone? I'm sure it can be rectified easily but it's beyond me.

Many thanks.
