With a W8.1 desktop ... would someone please remind me how to add and remove programs to the start tray, the bar along the bottom of the screen between the Windows icon and the time/date? Thanks.   ...batpark

If so, that is called the taskbar. And to get icons "pinned" there, simply right-click on the open program, and select "Pin to taskbar" I'm using Windows 10, but the process is the same in Windows 8/8.1
