As my question implies, what i'm looking for is some software, don't need a lot of bells and whistles, but I'd like the possibility to remove vocals from a song, such that I'm left with the instrumental-sounding version. 

 

I've tried Audacity, and also NERO sound software (don't have this one anymore, it was on my old computer), so now I'm relying on audacity, but I'm not too impressed with the results I've achieved. Does someone here know superior quality software for this purpose?
