i would like to start off by saying my profession is floor installer,im hoping that might cuts me a little slack. I"ve purchased a Lenovo Ideapad 100s to have internet in my work shed.. i ran 10 3 with ground wire 24" underground in conduit to my shed approximately 130' from the router in my home. 10 3 wire is also rated for underground. I ran cat5e cable the same distance in separate conduit with approximately 12"of separation between the electric and cat5. both 25" down. starting point being router in my home , I ran cat5 out of router down inside of my heating duct be sure to put double insulation on the cat5 running in duct approximately 12' in duct work. into my basement where there is approximately 8 more feet of cat 5 ending in an outlet for cat5 .the end does not have a rj45 on it . It dies into and i made the end the outlet. from the outlet i plugged in the cat5 with an end on it and ran approximately 29' along my basement ceiling before it goes outdoors. from there it goes outdoors until it ends in the shed approximately 85'.again no rj45, but directly in and making up outlet. in the shed has no more then 6' of cat5 cable plugged into outlet going to another router plugged into the ethernet port which is no more than 8" from my ideapad that i purchased. everything was great for the first 20 minutes, then it all went down hill. its very slow and videos seem to skip. Any advise would be greatly appreciated. please remember, if i cant get this working i will have to spend my nights with my wife in the house. PLEASE HELP. Thanks in advanced for any and all suggestions. sure hope i did this right .first timer on one of these web pages thanks again. one more thing, all work performed by myself including making up all of the ends on the cat5e. just switched from ethenert port to wifi port seems faster but videoes skippuing bad still
