Hey guys,

Look, I have brought this computer for 80 bucks a few months ago, its a basic one not a gaming one the person that I brought the computer off says that windows 7 ultimate is a legal copy, how ever, when i have googled everything that I can find it says that everything is for real, and well I need to know is there a good and better way to find out and make sure that its legal?

When I asked the guy if this windows is legal he said that he works for microsoft and that he can still get legal keys for it.  But I never got a disk and I really need to put my mind at ease.

I also forgot to add I have had no problems like you normally could with windows 8 + with pirated copies I just haven't used windows 7 in years so everything I know with this making sure its legal has gone out the window.  I have all the updates that the computer needs from the windows updates if that helps.

Let's take a look and see

Please download WVCheck from Latest EXE Download.

  • Double click WVCheck.exe. (If you downloaded the zipped version you will need to extract it.)
  • As indicated by the prompt, This program can take a while depending on your hard drive space.
  • Once the program is done, copy the contents of the notepad file as a reply.

Looks OK to me. It's updating which is a big sign that it's legit. None of the know cracks applied. No other signs.

I'd say it was genuine
