I have Windows 10 on my Lanovo G470 laptop and last night the bottom half of the screen turned black and is still black. I turned my PC off, same with my Internet, tried word processing, tried various settings choices, Clicked on Display on Control Panel  and still no change. What to do?

If you also get that same "bottom half of the screen" is "black" when in the CMOS/BIOS Setup, the LCD screen needs to be replaced.

Read somewhere recently you can (maybe) point to the dividing line between black and the upper half of the screen and drag it down. That fixed this for one person.
