This is a random problem that seemingly came out of nowhere. All of a sudden my desktop is a solid black color, and nothing happens when I go to change it. Even when I click on the themes that come with windows nothing changes. When I go to personalize, and go to the menu where I can change it from a "picture, sold color, or sideshow", I click picture and the menu will automatically reset itself to solid color by itself within a second or two. I've tried going to ease of access and "remove all background images" wasn't checked. I also tried editing the registry from info I read on another site, and updated my video card drivers to the newest version, all to no avail. There has to be a simple fix to this, as I've just bought a nice new 27 inch monitor and have to stare at an ugly black screen all the time. Thanks in advance for the help.
