This should be an easy answer for someone expert in HTML.  I have looked for the answer, but have not been successful.

I have a Hostgator hosting account. I bought a domain when I got the account. I bought another domain and made it an add-on domain.

I added an HTML website to the add-on domain. I added subdomains to the add-on domain by the folder method(add-on.com/subdomain).

I added links on the subdomain website, for my privacy and tos pages, to point to the add-on domain.(add-on.com/privacy).

When I click on the privacy or tos links, they give me a 500 Internal Server error.

Now I can go to the URL and type in www.add-on.com/privacy and the page will show well. So, the page is spelled correctly.

If anyone has an easy solution to this, I would appreciate it.

Jay

Hi jabster123, and welcome to Geeks to Go! :D

Have you added an A record for the subdomain in your DNS?
