hello.  I am looking at the cookies stored in chrome and I see some are classified as "data base storage", others are "service workers" and another is "cache storage" and one is "channel id."  what does this all mean?

thanks for your help.

Hi Nietzsche 1899

and welcome to our forums.

:welcome:

The whole subject of cookies can be an interesting one, and there is much to learn about them for those folks who seek more information on them.

To get a real grasp on the subject you will need to do some research, but a useful overview that will help to differentiate the various forms of cookies can be seen here.

This should at least help you get started in your research and the links at the end of the article are well worth following up, as they will expand considerably your understanding of the issues.

Regards
