Still having trouble attaching a photo from Instagram to an email message. These steps did not work.

  • I get to Instagram and see a number of photos.

  • I select one of them and view it fine. I note and copy its id from the navigation bar of my browser.

  • I go to my email (Yahoo mail) and send myself a message to which I attach the id I copied from previous step – and Send the message.

  • I receive the message but when I try to open the attachment I am asked to select a program to open it. I find that IE, nor Paint, nor other programs I tied are suitable.

  • WHAT PROGRAM CAN ACCEPT the instagram photo???

Thanks for your help. … batpark

Why are you copying anything from the navigation bar?

Which part of the video I posted does not work for you?

Alternatively, you could just press and hold a picture to Save it, then attach it as you normally would in an e-mail.
