A year ago I bought this HP Pavillion All in One computer (HP 21-2109) and it was okay for a while until I used
a folder of photos as my desktop background. Then the computer would freeze on some simple tasks like editing
my contact categories and spreadsheet stuff. Over several months HP support tried to find the problem doing hard drive
test (1.5 hours, etc) but then told me there was nothing wrong with my computer. I talked to the company I bought it from
and they replaced it with the same model but when I put the same photos on the desktop background flashing ever 10 seconds, the computer froze again. I finally decided to remove these photos and the computer was 90% better.
My question is how could this happen when I have 6GB of ram and I paid close to $800 for this machine.
I do like the All in One aspect of this machine but I find it hard to believe that it would have such a flaw and nobody seemed
to have this problem but me. It would appear that all these models have the same problem which might only show up
if the owner happens to choose a folder of 200 photos as his desktop background. Has anyone on planet Earth heard of
such a thing?
