I got what I believe is a bit torrent which invaded my machine, now it won't boot or provide any kind of display, no cursor, monitors indicate no signal. Power supply seems to be working as fans come on. Removed, cleaned and reset RAM. Removed hard drive, was able to access files it when hooked to another computer. Replaced CMOS battery. No way to boot in safe mode or access BIOS. Tried booting from Windows 7 CD, no luck.

Is the MB here the same as the one in your system, reason that I ask is so we can determine if there is an onboard speaker present that would help with troubleshooting.

 

Power supply seems to be working as fans come on.

 

 

As a PSU puts out various voltages +3.3V, +5V and +12V it may appear that the PSU is working correctly but it is not, any significant drop of any output can prevent the system from booting up, the other scenario is a significant increase in the output which can be worse as it can fry one or more major components such as the MB, CPU, Ram, add on video card etc.

Yes, that is the motherboard. I got the problem fixed, seems the malware corrupted the display drivers. Unhooked all but one monitor and was able to get the machine to boot. Did have to reinstall the operating system but I'm glad I'm very religious about doing backups so didn't lose any data. Thanks.
