i started having problems yesterday with my gaming PC. i just rebuilt it about a week ago, and all of a sudden i started getting these fake windows alerts in my taskbar, and i got a modified IE window imposed over my desktop that was linked to some avgold virus program. i am severely ticked off right now, because i cannot get to my desktop. When i googled all of this, a link took me to a post here, where someone had the same problem, and a fix was posted, FixO.bat was the name i beleive. i downloaded the link in that post, transfered it to my desktop via a jumpdrive, and ran the files in the folder. it did not do anything, and i still get the blue screen of death after an attempted login, along with a message saying explorer.exe could not be opened.....any help would be much appreciated, because i have a LAN to attend at the end of this month, and i need this PC!!!!

Thanks, Hawk
