Hi,
I have got a 2nd hand computer that was pretty good in it's day.
I was wondering if you guys think its even worth the upgrade.
The internals:
WD Green 1TB
Core i7 870 2.93 GHz
Radeon HD 4350
Gigabyte H57M-USB3
4GB DDR3 RAM

The things I am thinking of upgrading are RAM, Graphics card and maybe getting an SSD. Is it worth spending the money on an old system?

Thank you

Gday.

Please read the specs and notes for the MB, > http://www.buildcomp...case-sizes.html

Upgrading the RAM, buy a new kit, 2 x 4GB = 8GB, Only RAM sold in kit form is guaranteed to work.

Upgrading the GPU.   Check carefully that your PSU is capable of supplying enough voltage for the whole system and Amps on the PCI-E lines.

SSD.   Providing you have the OS disk, I advice a fresh install.   Cloning is a last resort.   If you have not got a written product key, make sure to find it on the system info.
