I was monitoring the system and it was ok until yesterday that it crashed and it just crashed right now. Should I then proceed to disable hibernation ?

Attached are the last dumps. I was happy because I though you solved the problem since it stopped crashing, but suddenly it started crashing again it's kinda weird. I think I always have a couple of chrome tabs open including streaming songs from pandora. But sometimes I just booted the pc up I open my previous chrome session I go to file explorer and then it crashes.

Apologies for the delay getting back to you  :(

Same two culprits named in your crash dmps which point towards your AV and network drivers, we may need to run Driver Verifier which can take up to 72hrs of testing so do the following first please as it may flag something up much quicker;

Download MiniToolBox and save the file to the Desktop.
Close the browser and run the tool, check the following options:

  • List last 10 Event Viewer log
  • List Installed Programs

Click on Go.

Post the resulting log in your next reply.

A few issues going on but will stick to trying to resolve the crashes for now;

Intel® Dynamic Platform and Thermal Framework, please uninstall one or both of the following two programs (you may not have both) Dell Support Assist and Dell Support Assist Agent:

Code Integrity determined that a process (\Device\HarddiskVolume5\Program Files\Windows Defender\MsMpEng.exe) download Avast (free) from here and use that instead of Defender, it is important that you allow Avast to update and run a scan and please check to see that Defender is shown to be disabled once Avast is running.

What kind of issues? What is wrong with the intel dynamic platform and thermal framework? I proceeded to uninstall both dell programs. Downloading avast now, does it need to be avast or just any AV program to disable windows defender just for reference.

What kind of issues?

Error: (05/08/2016 03:02:59 PM) (Source: Office 2016 Licensing Service) (User: ) Description: Subscription licensing service failed: -1073418220

The User Data Access_43d9779 service terminated unexpectedly.

Avast is very good, light on resources and plays nicely with Windows 10, some others like AVG, McAfee and Norton may not though.

Still the same cause of the crashes;

To see if we can identify any driver conflicts please refer to the copy/paste details below provided courtesy of jcgriff2  :thumbsup:
1. Create a Windows System Restore Point -
Vista - START | type rstrui - create a restore point
Windows 7 - START | type create | select "Create a Restore Point"
Windows 8/ 8.1 - Using Microsoft System Restore (Windows*8) | HP® Support

2. Run Driver Verifier -
- Windows 7 & Vista - START | type verifier
- Windows 10/8.1/8 - Press WIN +X keys | select "Command Prompt (Admin)" | type verifier

Make these selections - (not all available in Windows 10)
1. Select 2nd option - Create custom settings (for code developers)
2. Select 2nd option - Select individual settings from a full list
3. Check these boxes -
▪ Special Pool
▪ Pool Tracking
▪ Force IRQL checking
▪ Deadlock Detection
▪ Security Checks (new as of Windows 7)
▪ Concurrency Stress Test (new as of Windows 8)
▪ DDI compliance checking (new as of Windows 8)
▪ Miscellaneous Checks
4. Select last option - Select driver names from a list
5. Click on the Provider heading - sorts list by Provider
6. Check ALL boxes where "Microsoft" IS NOT the Provider
7. Click on Finish
8. Re-boot[/HIDE]

- If the Driver Verifier (DV) finds a violation, it will result in a BSOD

- After re-start, you may not be able to log on to normal Windows
... • Boot into SAFEMODE - tap the F8 key repeatedly during boot-up
... • Select "System Restore"
... • Choose the restore point that you created in step #1

- For Driver Verifier status
--- select last option, 1st screen -or-
--- type verifier /query (in a cmd/DOS screen)
- To turn Driver Verifier off - verifier /reset then re-boot

- The Driver Verifier needs to run as long as possible - even if the status screen appears clear.
- All future BSOD dumps must be VERIFIER_ENABLED_MINIDUMPs - otherwise the dump(s) are of no use

If your system does BSOD while the Driver Verifier is running, please retrieve the dump file from c:\windows\minidump and attach it to your next reply.

Please note that Driver Verifier may need to be left running for up to 72hrs, you should use the computer as you normally would and DV will not affect this unless a BSOD occurs.

I will try this during the weekend since I am currently doing an aircraft design, so I can let it sit without any interruption. While the check is running can I turn off the computer and then it will resume or it need to be on for 72 hours?

Use the computer as you normally would, DV will only stop running when you instruct it to, it will not affect performance in any way and is only looking out for rogue drivers.

Hello Phillpower sorry for butting in, but ntoskrnl means that something is wrong with the Windows Kernel, normally this is related with RAM issues, but it could be something else?
