Can someone recommend me a reliable web security scanner? Preferably something that can handle web applications made with AJAX and SOAP. Thank you!

I'm not sure if this is what you're looking for but give it a try: Acunetix Vulnerability Scanner

The problem with most scanners is you need to know how to use them or they are worse than useless and can give you a false sense of security. You really need to be trained in penetration testing to use them effectively.

You could try Retina Community Edition. This a free scanner and you can find tutorials on YouTube and support here.

OMG thank you so much. I'll definitely check those out especially that free one. I was getting desperate since I only had BeyondTrust (recommended by my acquaintance) in my list and was just about to call them for a quote.
