HI, I'm new to this, and I looked up videos on good gaming computers for my needs. Here are the parts that I found that are priced fairly but I don't know if these parts can go together and if I am missing any important parts to run the computer. (If you see the same part but a lower price, please paste the website.) Here are the parts and links.

AMD-FX 6300 3.5GHZ SIX CORE=80.00+4.99

ASUS M5A97 LE R2.0 ATX AM3+MOTHERBOARD=76.88

HyperX HX318C10FB/4 Fury 4GB 240pin DDR3 DDR31866=39.76 (Buying 2 of them)

Western Digital WD10EZEX 1TB Blue 7200RPM SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5" Hard Drive=46.98

XFX Radeon R9 380 R9-380P-2255 2GB PCIE 3.0 CrossFireX OC Video Card=199.89

MSI AMD Radeon R9 270X Gaming 2GB GDDR5 2DVI/HDMI/DisplayPort PCI-Express Video Card=121.22+5.99

EVGA 100-B1-0500-KR 80 PLUS Bronze 500W ATX Power Supply=44.89

ANTEC ONE ATX MID TOWER=54.99

Asus VS197D-P 18.5" LED Backlight LCD Monitor=96.98

(There are 2 Radeons, because one is better but has higher price, the other is lower price. Please tell me which one I should get, and again, if there are better pieces that cost less, give me the links, and if the part doesn't work, please post an alternative, and lastly, if I'm missing any parts, like cords or small stuff like that, again, post the product link.)

:welcome:   CrimsonKidMC,

Not a bad list of parts but a couple of pointers for you regarding the video card/s.

The XFX Radeon R9 380 R9-380P-2255 2GB PCIE 3.0 CrossFireX OC Video Card requires a minimum of a 550W output PSU so the EVGA 100-B1-0500-KR 80 PLUS Bronze 500W ATX Power Supply needs to be changed accordingly.

The MSI AMD Radeon R9 270X Gaming 2GB GDDR5 2DVI/HDMI/DisplayPort PCI-Express Video Card is the faster card of the two, only requires a 500W PSU but is second hand unfortunately, I recommend against purchasing anything used when it comes to high end hardware.

Other points of note, there is no optical drive such as a DVD R/W or OS such as Windows 7 64-bit on the list, have these been overlooked or do you have them already.

NB: In case you were wondering, moved your thread here as this forum is where upgrade/build topics are dealt with
