Errors on Windows 7 laptop

Earlier today my Windows 7 Toshiba Satellite L755D-S5204 froze and later, while I was afk while running a virus scan it apparently bluescreend.

I got that information from the recovery statement.

I think you got a crash dump files on C:/Windows/Minidump/*.dmp can you please post that or upload to find out the issue.

1. Copy any dmp files from C:\Windows\Minidump onto the desktop.
2. Select all of them, right-click on one, and click on Send To> New Compressed (zipped) Folder.
3. Upload the zip folder using the More reply options and then Attach button, bottom left of the dialogue input box

Hi

 

please follow the below guide to fix the blue screen error

 

·Remember the changes you have recently done before BSOD

·Check your computer hardware parts

·Check your computer temperature

·Test your hard drive

Can't you just download WinRAR? Stupid Winzip won't work on my PC.

Download and install WhoCrashed

  • Run the tool and click Analyze
  • post the generated report

Any recent Hardware change?

 

Try to install the Intel Rapid Storage Technology Driver provided by Toshiba

None that I know of unless using an external USB hub counts.
