I'm hoping it ran out of space and that's why it couldn't finish the install.Now that we have some space how about uninstalling the netgear, disconnecting the adapter, reboot and install the driver, connect the adapter.
If it fails let's see the setupapidev.log again and also a new junk.txt file. See if anything has changed.
