Hello,

I need a new computer screen, my old one is showing signs of malfunctioning.

My desktop is a    CyberpowerPC Gamer Xtreme H700 Desktop PC Intel Co

Although it is a gaming computer, I use it for my trading at the stock market,

i.e. I see lots of numbers all day long.

What should I look for in a new screen? My current one is a 19'' Yuraku screen.

I'd like a bigger one, at least 23'', but also, since I spend a lot of time looking at it,

something that is not so hard on the eyes would be useful.

I know nothing (yet) in that area, so appreciate any suggestions or comments!

Thanks, Richard

Gday Richard.

Sounds like the LG 25UM56-P 25” would suit the work you do as the split screen function would be useful.  If you can't view the product somewhere, 3 sheets of A4 paper, layed side by side, is about the size of the panel.   Input is only HDMI, check with Newegg there is one in the box, also read the reviews.

If your GPU is the AMD 240, you could try using you existing monitor as a second display for web browsig but would need a SL DVI-D to VGA adaptor

Thank you iammykyl,

in the meantime I had a look at consumer report   (www.consumerreport.org)    and

they recommended the

NEC Display MultiSync E223W-BK 22" LED LCD Monitor - 16:10 - 5 ms

using it the second day now, so can't say much, other than so far, I am happy with it.

Thanks for responding regardless, Richard

Thanks for the update.

The aspect ratio 16:10 is better as you can view the full hight of A4 without scrolling up/down.

You are very welcome.
