A friend is having a problem with Taboola ads on her homepage. Using Ad Block Plus in Firefox has moved the ads from the sides to the middle-almost like a header. after running Malwarebytes scan Taboola ads did not go away. It reads: "Ads You May Like". While you can right click and "close' them-they are dimmed and still there. After signing in to her MS account there is a thing called Microsoft Personalized Ads-which I've never messed with and didn't understand fully. You can toggle it On/Off-neither removed Taboola.

I did find an article online saying that Ad Block Plus was being paid by MS, Google and Amazon to allow their ads. I also suggested that she use another home page.

Please go to the malware forum and follow the instructions at the top....Especially the CLICK HERE.

That will give you several steps that will help you clean up 70 percent of all problems by yourself. If at the end of the process you are still having difficulty--and you may not be-- then post an OTListIt log in THAT forum.
