Any member is most welcome to contribute within a thread if their input would be helpful to the person seeking assistance, posting "oh, it's so buggy" is not helpful to anyone and may cause undue stress to a person such as dustypink, please only post if offering genuine assistance, thank you.

the cystal thing is not happening I am downloading it and not getting anything I have removed avast

The program does not unzip and run automatically, you need to do this manually.

Do you get the downloading icon on the taskbar, click on the open when done option and then select "extract all"

Spot on and thanks for pointing dustypink to the download DS  :thumbsup:

Your HDD is in perfect working order so no worries there, the specs of the drive are not the best but that would not cause the problems that you described earlier.

Are you still having problems with opening web pages.

Post an Autoruns log for us please, see here

1: Extract the Autoruns Zip file contents to a folder.

2: Double-click the "Autoruns.exe".

3: Click on the "Hide Signed Microsoft and Windows Entries” option.

4: Go to File then to Export As or Save in some versions.

5: Save AutoRuns.txt file to known location like your Desktop > when you click on File > Save you will then get the option to Save as type, click the drop down tab, change it to Text and then click the Save button.

6: Attach to your next reply.

Post separately so that you receive notification;

AutoRuns is pretty clean with only two items that should not be present, they may or may not be causing you problems, regardless they need to be removed so as to avoid conflicting with Windows Defender;

VBoxAswDrv" "" "" "File not found: C:\Program Files\AVAST Software\Avast\ng\vbox\VBoxAswDrv.sys" "" ""

"AvastVBoxSvc" "" "" "File not found: C:\Program Files\AVAST Software\Avast\ng\vbox\AvastVBoxSVC.exe"

Please download and then run the Avast removal tool, details here
