are you talking about the preferred language of Google Chrome?

Do you want to change the language into English merely or else? I think the fast way that without looking up a dictionary is that right click on the homepage, select the translation function from contextmenu. Then set the preferred language. My Google Chrome also shows other languages which I can't understand sometimes and I always try this way.

I also suggest you to reset the google chrome application
