I have a new laptop from work...I tried to download a Google docs template to use and was hit with an onslaught of malware.

I ran the  malware antimalware software and it detected over 2000 threats, I selected each threat and then hit remove.  I was prompted to restart so I did...then when I logged back in all I have a blank screen!  How do I return to my Windows deskstop!?

Hi sunshine_coach,

Is this a work computer that could be looked at by your IT person, or did you purchase the laptop for personal use?

Do you recall the exact name of the malware antimalware software that you used which detected over 2000 threats?

Which OS (XP, Vista, Windows 7, etc..) is installed?

Are you able to boot into safe mode?

Donna :)
