Installed new DVD burner

I started out with a DVD ROM and a CDRW, I first uninstalled the CDRW then powered down and removed it, put the dvd rom on in its spot (using its cable aso.) and put the new dvd rw in the dvd rom's old spot. I've checked the jumper things and they're right (dvd rom master, dvd rw slave) and the bios is not recognising either of them. I've tried swapping positions back to no avail.

Update:

Upon further investigation, I discovered that I had accidentally pulled the other end of the thin broad cable-of-cables (IDE?) out of the motherboard ;) So I reconnected it and now everything's sweet :tazz:
