So my Logitech G15 keyboard is starting to go.  The membranes around certain keys (E and D currently) aren't popping the key back up so well anymore, the material is a bit cracked from prolonged use since I've have this for approx 10 years IIRC.  Anyways, I'm considering getting a mechanical keyboard to replace it, but don't know which type of switch is best for me.  I know there's many types (Cherry MX red, blue, black, brown, green, white, clear, etc) along with proprietary switches that companies sometimes use.  Is there a place where I can physically try these out, at last a couple of them?  I called some local stores (Best Buy, Office Max, hhgregg) and none of them have any mechanical keyboards on display.

I really wanna get a feel for these different switches before I invest a decent amount of money into something I'll likely have around for another decade to come.  Does anyone know where I might be able to?  I'm getting the feeling there's literally nowhere around me.  :(

Fry's Electronics?

Thanks for replying!  I was worried either no one cared, or no one had any idea.  I forgot to mention I'm in Florida, there's no Fry's here unfortunately.  :(
