Over the summer i purchased a used computer for $300 it has an i5-2500 an AMD firepro v5900, 8gb of ram and im unaware of the other hardware
so the amd firepro graphics card is decent but its a workstation card, and isnt for gaming, its 2gb card
Motherboard: http://ark.intel.com...op-Board-DQ67SW
CPU: http://ark.intel.com...-up-to-3_70-GHz
Power supply is Modu 82+ II
so here is where things get complicated. next friday i was gonna order a GTX 960 4gb MiTX edition
https://www.amazon.c...-6&keywords=960
i plan to be playing games and i want to record as well which brings me to a couple questions, when i currently record i experience my screen stuttering and stuff and lag without having my fps go below 60, is this the graphics card or is it cause my processor isnt good enough?
and the reason this is complicated is i want to be able to play some more games like battlefield and stuff which takes alot so the 960 is a good choice, however someone local is selling a gaming pc and here is the specs listed and this is Canadian dollar so it is typically more expensive

My question is am i better off ordering the GTX 960 and do you think i will be able to record 1080p or is it my outdated i5-2500 slowing me down
or should i go with this local computer and sell this one or use parts out of my current one
and also will the dual xeons be bad for gaming? like can they handle BF and other games or how do dual processors work?
Thanks, would really appreciate some help
